For me, I will watch this movie, but I'm a bit hardcore bitter about the format. Oh well, I'll see what my wife thinks. She is my indicator of a good superhero movie because she is not into comics or reads them at all.

Hi Gang,

I am pleased and happy to report that we now have a trained paramedic as part of the Sentinels team under hero support. Nothing like qualified personnel to take care of the boo boos that might come our way. I just hope on behalf of both my self and The Force that we will never need her services. As for as Robert The Robot goes I will still be seeing to his needs. After all I built him from scratch so I should be able to handle any needed repairs.

Hey all... this is exciting... This will be the second year in a row the Alternates will be participating in the Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure. More information will come. In a few weeks I'll get the team site registered at komenoregon.org and we'll have a nice donation page.

In Portland the race is on September 21st. We'll do our best to start our fund raising efforts early to raise as much cash as we can. And if any of our Washington friends wanna come on down, that would be sweet. ...

This will be interesting. In the comics, Supes has a adopted Kryptonian kid (Zod's and Ursa) now which rumor has it will stick around after Final Crisis. Also unlike the movie, Lois and Clark have been married for a while and there was no 5 year absence. It would be interesting to see how they kill of cyclops (James Madson) in this one.

A while back, I had a bunch of java script banners and tickets that broadcast amber alerts and such. I know there was that Society X thing that tried to do that. Does anyone use that kind of stuff? If so, I was thinking of making a single page that would be heavy in java, tables and whatever I can throw at it so it can be used as bookmark or home page for webbrowers or something.

So a friend relayed a story to me how their friend lived in a tall apartment building that overlooks a street that has a regular occurrence of crime (mostly non-violent crime i.e.- drugs, prostitution, a combination of the two, public intoxication etc.). Planned on patrolling the Belltown district of Seattle with Dreamer-- lots of drug activity in the area of 2nd and Bell. Arrived around 22:30 hours and waited 15 minutes for Dreamer to meet me in the parking lot. Unfortunately, the parking area was large and open-- no cover, and very well lit. I am kind of interested.

It seems to me that Psychic Powers is like a extra sense that a human can have. The Soviet government tried to utilize that tapped potental a few times. Plus there have been cases where Psychics have been used. Lastly, regliously, it has been mention loosely under spirital gifts.

However, would this qualify as a Superpower or a extra-ordinary sense? Training and perfecting your extra senses is, to me, no different then say training to run a mile in like 7 seconds ...

Which Martial Arts/Self Defense Systems Do You Use?

I noticed that a lot ofyou claim to practice some form of martial art or other self-sefense training.

Which leaves me to wonder: Which do you use, and why?

As for myself, I am a trained boxer and I comepte in muay thai on the amateur level. However, as it has become my experience that most real fights are often won or lost on the ground, I have also taken advantage of MMA training.

But enough about that. What do you recommend?
